in red. The whole is within a border of blaok, gold, pink, red
and blue, 8 x 4£ in. The first Persian ooininentnry surrounds this
on three sides, within a border of gold and blue linoB, 9% x 5$ in.
The second Persian oommentary surrounds the first within a border
of pink, blue, black and gold, this border (ll£ x 6£ in. ) serving
as border for the whole page* On the right hand side of the
border are multicoloured designs of various sorts containing the
Quranic divisions, etc. The inner corners of the outermost border
have multicoloured designs.
The folios exist within quires of irregular Quantities, the
whole within an exquisite red' leather caeo, with gilt designs
around the edges, with tlnxu '.Che blank folios referred to above
serve to proteot the others* I'lxu copy ie perfectly preserved.
