>> jimmy: oh, my gosh. >> and it was so much fun 'cause i had never -- i had never had, like, a a collaborative writing experience so -- >> jimmy: what do you do? >> well, we just had, like, a a weird, awkward first date, and sat around in a circle. >> jimmy: and you go like, "so, what do you wanna sing about? what do you wanna sing about?" >> we're like -- yeah, we're like, "so, what are you feeling?" and i was just like, "i don't know." the first thing honest -- actually, is probably what i'm gonna sing tonight. and i was like, "i don't know, i wanna feel like, swampy. let's start with something swampy." >> jimmy: ohh. >> and that's so -- and then it just kind of, like -- i mean, i don't know what happened, but in two weeks, we had 26 songs. and it was like -- linda was like, "i think we need to stop." >> jimmy: bud. >> because we were just, like, very -- >> jimmy: on a roll. >> on a roll. and then -- and then there's other songs in there. like, there's -- that i wrote with danny. >> jimmy: and how did "glorious," how'd the title come out? >> well that -- the song on the album, and it's sort of a big, sweeping ballad. linda and i wrote that song together in, like, ten minutes.

it was one of those songs that just -- we both kind of looked at each other after writing it and went, "oh, that was intense." >> jimmy: that's actually -- >> it's, like, big. >> jimmy: came out. we just made a song. >> we just were like, "what just happened?" >> jimmy: yeah. are you going to go on tour? >> and i -- i -- yeah, i am. i mean, i have -- yeah. [ light laughter ] i called my sister. i was like, "hey, is there a a chance that two babies came out of mom?" and she was like, "i don't remember." and i called my dad, and he was like, "i was there, but maybe." [ laughter ] i was like, "oh no!" >> jimmy: this is insane. chrissy. >> like, i was spiraling this day. everything -- like, nothing made sense, but at the same time, everything made sense. [ laughter ] >> jimmy: yeah, you felt like -- >> i felt like i was attached to something. i'm missing this other person in my life. >> jimmy: something was taken away from you, yeah. >> yes. and it got so deep. and it was, like, beautiful. and i was sharing it with the kids i was like, "man, i'm on this journey now." so -- >> jimmy: good for you. i felt this. >> i wrote my twin. this is the most embarrassing part of everything, i think. >> she dm'd her on -- >> i dm'd her on 23andme. >> on 23andme. >> you get the app. >> jimmy: oh, so you get the -- whoever does it, they get their own account through 23andme. >> yes.
