biden justice department to be his lead prosecutor, the optics are not good, they also don't seem to matter in new york. bragg is betting everything on having a new york jury, a new york audience, and this just does not bother them. this idea that you know this is a case that none of us have seen the likes of. a theory that few of us can understand, they can't get beyond the fact that the defendant is donald trump that is all you need in new york for many voters. larry: it just suggests, jonathan, either rightly or wrongly, there is a biden involvement in this trial. as you know, mr. trump is furious. because they are holding him in toe in in courtroom instead of out there on the campaign trail where he belongs. for the rest of the country does it look leak j like joe biden is involved in

this trial in ways and means he should not be? >> well, that is the fascinating aspect of how politic of law are merging. this is a split screen election. we would have trump in one court after being just in another, you know taken from courthouse to courthouse, now we have one split screen with president campaigning and president -- the former president is caged up in new york, i don't think that american people like it outside of new york this is not playing well. the majority of -- you have about 35% who believe there is a crime here, that is not a particularly high number given inthe stage of this prosecution, usually by this point, people assume the worst. i think that is playing out in the country, people view this, i believe it is the weaponization of the criminal justice system.

larry: john -- i was going to ask you, on this question. the nondisclosure agreement, that is at the heart of this, people call it hush money, it is nondisclosure agreement. i think it is used frequently. is there -- what illegal about that? >> it is not illegal, what is wacky about this, even after opening arguments, many of us are stale debating what the crime was that trump was trying to conceal. you know even you know liberal legal analysts on other networks have panned this case, this is all premised on this idea there was a federal election violation. the department of justice rejected that. they didn't see that here. most people that are in this area believe there is not a crime involved on will for the side -- on federal side this is a pa 10 -- village
